Owner/Instructor
Melody Irvine has been in the medical field for over 30 years and is the owner of Career Coders, LLC out of Loveland, Colorado. She has obtained 6 certifications:
CPC, CPMA, CEMC, CPC-I, CCS-P, CMRS.
Ms. Irvine is a medical consultant specializing in physician auditing, education and curriculum development. She conducts educational seminars nationally and is presently on the AAPC National Advisory Board as Member Relations Officer for 2011-2013.
Some of Ms. Irvine's background includes: Working in the hospital setting for 9 years and physician practice for 15 years. She has developed medical billing and coding programs for local colleges, developed and implemented HIPAA & Compliance plans, Director of Urgent Care Clinic, Director of Coding for 48 physicians.
Most important of all, Ms. Irvine has a passion for her line of work and enjoys the rewards of helping individuals grow in this ever changing medical field.
Sally Wadlington, CPC, CPMA, CEMC, MHCS
Instructor
Sally has worked in the healthcare field for 34 years. During this 34 years she has worked in positions that include receptionist, transcriptionist, billing specialist, manager and administrator for a large multi-specialist physician office in Loveland, Colorado. She received her Masters of Healthcare Sciences in 1998. Since her retirement in 2004, she has been consulting and teaching medical billing and coding.
Kate Tierney, CPC, CPMA, CCS-P, CHI, CPC-P, CEMC, COGC, CGSC, CEDC, CEHRS, CPhT, CBCS, CMAA
Instructor
Kate has over 25 years of experience in the Healthcare industry at many levels. She is a Certified Healthcare Instructor, served as the Education Director for her local AAPC Chapter in Englewood, Colorado during 2008 and 2009, and taught Coding and Billing classes for five years. In addition to supervising the Coding Hub for Centura Health Systems in Colorado, she is the coding consultant for MES Solutions, an independent medical peer review company. She also helps develop coder testing materials for many Denver medical personnel services. When she is not coding, Kate is involved with her church and on the board of the Colorado United Irish Societies.
Brenton White
Webmaster
Brenton
White is the Career Coders Webmaster. He also works at Interweave
Press as a Web Production Administrator. His
degree is in Physics and he has worked with the Web from the "Stone"
age. He enjoys
traveling, mostly cruising, and walking with his dog, Mickey.

can we say? Just look at those faces. Mikko, the Toy Poodle is the Career Coders
greeter and all around FUN guy. Marley, the Yorkie, is the sweet
little guy that keeps Mikko company!
