Melody Irvine has been in the medical field for over 30 years and is the owner of Career Coders, LLC out of Loveland, Colorado. Melody has successfully passed the Certified Family Practice Certification (CFPC) examination for coding through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). She has obtained 7 certifications:

Ms. Irvine is a medical consultant specializing in physician auditing, education and curriculum development. She conducts educational seminars nationally and is presently on the AAPC National Advisory Board as Member Relations Officer for 2011-2013.
Some of Ms. Irvine's background includes: Working in the hospital setting for 9 years and physician practice for 15 years. She has developed medical billing and coding programs for local colleges, developed and implemented HIPAA & Compliance plans, Director of Urgent Care Clinic, Director of Coding for 48 physicians.
Most important of all, Ms. Irvine has a passion for her line of work and enjoys the rewards of helping individuals grow in this ever changing medical field.
Melody's personal side includes her husband Michael. He is her strength and support. Melody has two son's, Joshua and his wife Katie, and their son Caleb. Derek and his wife Alexis who have two children, Blaise and Brennen. Melody loves spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them as much as she can. She also has an extended family of step-sons, Jeffrey and his wife Abbey, Greg and wife & Jessica, Patrick, and Robert. One step-daughter Shannon & husband Page. Plus six step-grandchildren Alex, Zach, Alanna, Dorian, Emma and Alexia. Of course she can't forget her two spoil dogs, Mikko (toy poodle) and Marley (Yorkie) that always welcome her home with kisses after each trip. She feels very blessed to have a supportive husband, family and step-family.
